3 years anniversary!! - Aniversario 3 anos!!

Yesterday, July 25th., was our 3rd. wedding anniversary, the 2nd. one together, the first one I was in Spain!!
But fortunately we're together now and more in love each day!! And with God's help, will continue that way for many more years to come!!
Ayer, Julio 25, fue nuestro 3er. aniversario de bodas, el segundo juntos pues el primero yo estaba en Espana!! Afortunadamente ahora estamos juntos y mas enamorados cada dia!! Y con la ayuda de Dios, continuara asi por muchos anos mas!!

 This was my anniversary gift, a foldable wagon, I got it thinking to use it for the boat, but John already used for other purposes as well, to bring his tools from the car to the house!!
Este fue mi regalo de aniversario, una carretilla plegable, la consegui pensando en usarla para el velero, pero John ya la uso para otros propositos, traer las herramientas del carro a la casa!!

 And of course, sure will have more uses, is a very nice thing to have!!
Y por supuesto, seguro que tendra mas usos, es algo muy util!!

 And this is the gorgeous flower arrangement my parents in law sent us, love the flowers, but the heart shape is my favorite!!
Y este es el precioso arreglo de flores que nos mandaron mis suegros, adoro las flores, pero el corazon con las hojitas es mi favorito!!

 The flutes we used for our wedding, with our names and date (25-07-09), and also added some ''romantic  touch'' with the red hearts confetti!! Las copas de champana fue las que usamos para nuestra boda, con los nombres y fecha (25-07-09), y tambien anadi un ''toque romantico'' con los aleluyas de corazones rojitos!!

 We enjoyed a Vietnamese soup first (both of us love it!!) and then chicken breast, quinoa (the 3 heart shapes!!), and fried onions and mushrooms, yummy!!!!
Primero disfrutamos de una sopa vietnamita (que a ambos nos encanta!!) y luego pechuga de pollo, quinoa (los 3 corazones!!) y champinones con cebolla refritos, todo delicioso!!!!
 

 After dinner we went to Bear Creek Park again, where we got married 3 years ago!!!
Luego de la cena fuimos al parque quebrada del oso de nuevo, donde nos casamos hace 3 anos!!!
 

 And of course, plenty of flowers around, beautiful!!
Y por supuesto, muchas flores alrededor, hermoso!!

 Sometimes I wish I could have a big garden full of flowers, but at least we have the parks!!
Algunas veces desearia tener un gran jardin lleno de flores, pero al menos tenemos los parques!!

 And for some days, some really gorgeous flowers at home!!
Y por algunos dias, unas flores realmente hermosas en casa!!

 And once we came back from the park, we went to the backyard to take some more pictures!!
Y una vez regresamos del parque, fuimos al patio trasero para tomar unas cuantas fotos mas!!

 So many nice memories to share, so glad we're together again!!!
Tantos recuerdos formidables para compartir, que felicidad estar juntos de nuevo!!!

And with God's help, many more memories and dreams to share in the years to come!!
Y con la ayuda de Dios, muchos mas recuerdos y suenos por compartir en los anos por venir!!

Enjoying everything!! - Disfrutando de todo!!

As the subject of the post says, I'm enjoying everyone and everything around me, or at least trying!! Life is beautiful, and with a positive attitude, sure we can enjoy it even more!!
Como el titulo lo dice, estoy disfrutando de todos y todo a mi alrededor, o al menos tratando!! La vida es hermosa y con una actitud positiva, seguro que la podemos disfrutar aun mas!!

 They don't care how they look, they just look glamorous!!
No les preocupa como lucen, solo lucen glamorosas!!

 And if we are attentive to our surroundings, sure we'll be able to enjoy all the beauty around!!
Y si estamos atentos a nuestro alrededor, seguro que podremos disfrutar toda la belleza alrededor!!

 ''Beauty is in the eye of the beholder'' but for sure it's available to everyone!!
''La belleza depende del ojo que la mira'' pero seguro que esta disponible para todos!!

 And even insects are not between my favorite ''animals'', they can ''help'' to make a picture a little more interesting, something to be grateful about!!
Y aunque los insectos no estan entre mis ''animales'' favoritos, pueden ''ayudar'' a hacer una foto un poco mas interesante, algo por lo que estar agradecida!!
 

 And fortunately, nature continues bringing us its splendor, then, let's cherish the true beauty it has to offer!!
Y afortunadamente, la naturaleza continua ofreciendonos su esplendor, asi que vamos a compartir la verdadera belleza que ella tiene para ofrecernos!!

Fleetwood Gardens - Jardines de Fleetwood

Last weekend the weather was really nice and as we weren't able to take the boat out, at least we enjoyed it visiting some parks!! This one is a beautiful one, and even we have been living here in Surrey for some years now, any of us knew it, was the first visit ... of  hopefully many more, for both of us!!
El ultimo fin de semana disfrutamos de un clima muy agradable y aunque no pudimos salir en el velero, al menos lo disfrutamos visitando algunos parques!! Este es uno bien bonito, y aunque hemos estado viviendo en Surrey por algunos anos, ni John ni yo lo conociamos, esta fue la primera visita ......espero que de muchas mas, para ambos!!

 One of the bridges at the entry of the park, love this kind of rustic, simple and natural bridges!!
Uno de los puentes a la entrada del parque, me encantan esta clase de puentes rusticos, simples y naturales!!

 Can you imagine how old this tree was?, and now is food for a lot of insects and animals living in the park!!
Pueden imaginarse que tan viejo era el arbol? y ahora es comida para insectos y animales que viven en el parque!!

 Thank you to the the person who had the time to carve this ''totem'' and make the path a little more nicer for walkers and visitors to the park!!
Gracias a la persona que se tomo el tiempo de esculpir este ''totem'' y hacer este sendero aun un poco mas agradable para caminantes y visitantes del parque!!
 

 And then, we went to another part of the park, with some beautiful gardens and plenty of roses to enjoy!!
Y luego fuimos a otra parte del parque, con unos jardines preciosos y muchisimas rosas para disfrutar!!

Bear Creek Park - Parque Quebrada del oso

Now, with a better weather, we are also walking more and of course, a lot more opportunities to enjoy different flowers and nature around!!! Last Friday night we came back to one of our favorites parks, Bear Creek Park, and every time we go there is a delight with all the new and beautiful surroundings!!
Ahora, con el clima mejor, tambien estamos caminando mas y por supuesto, muchas mas oportunidades para disfrutar diferentes flores y la naturaleza alrededor!!! El pasado viernes en la noche regresamos a uno de nuestros parques favoritos, parque quebrada del oso, donde cada vez que vamos nos deleitamos con los nuevos y hermosos alrededores!!

 I know, a little blurry, but I wanted everybody to be able to ''see'' the spider web!!!
Lo se, un poco borrosa, pero queria que todos pudieran ''ver'' la telarana!!!

 And here is the spider, love the way the web looks!!
Y aqui esta la arana, me encanta como luce la telarana!!

 And this is another flower, looks like a cotton ball!! There is a kind of ''Japanese Garden'' and this tree is there.
Y esta es otra flor, luce como una bolita de algodon!! Hay un lugar que es como un jardin japones y este arbol esta ahi.
 

 Here opening, so simple but at the same time so pretty and serene!!
Aqui ya abriendo, simple pero al mismo tiempo tan hermosa y serena!!

 And what about these ones? I told John they look like butterflies trying to open their wings!!
Y que hay de estas? Le dije a John que parecian mariposas tratando de abrir sus alas!!

 I was so temped to touch it, but didn't, just appreciated the delicacy and ''softness'' is radiating from it!!
Estaba tan tentada de tocarla, pero no lo hice, solo aprecie su delicadeza y la ''suavidad'' que irradia de ella!!

 And these seeds (I think they are seeds) made me remember Colombia, looks kind of like a tropical plant!!
Y estas semillas (creo que son semillas) me hicieron recordar a Colombia, lucen casi como de una planta tropical!!

 Every time, I am more and more fascinated with all the beauty around!!
Cada vez estoy mas y mas fascinada con toda esta belleza alrededor!!

 It's incredible how amazing nature can be, and most of the time, all by itself!!
Es increible que tan formidable puede ser la naturaleza, y la mayor parte del tiempo, sin la ayuda de nadie!!
 

But I feel really fortunate being able to enjoy and appreciate all the splendor!!
Pero me siento realmente afortunada siendo capaz de disfrutar y apreciar todo el esplendor!!

 What a wild party these snails are having, LOL!!!! Que fiesta mas salvaje estan teniendo estos caracoles, jajaja!!!!

 They seem to be saying ''hey, here I come, give me space, give me space!!''
Parecen estar diciendo ''hey, aqui vengo, denme espacio, denme espacio!!''

 And again, another seed, another wonder of nature, so colorful to attract insects and birds to ''spread'' them!!
Y de nuevo, otra semilla, otra maravilla de la naturaleza, tan colorida para atraer los insectos y aves que las ''repartiran'' por doquier!!

 Looks like a mini forest, isn't it? Luce como un pequeno bosque, no les parece?

 I want to think they are telling us ''How are you doing? hope you're enjoying having me around!!''
Quiero creer que nos estan diciendo ''Como estas? espero que estes disfrutando el tenerme alrededor!!''

 And another one that made me remember of Colombia, we have a lot of them there!!!
Y otra que me hizo recordar a Colombia, tenemos muchas de estas por alli!!

 And as us, humans, flowers so different between them, but so unique and beautiful all of them!!
Como nosotros, los humanos, flores tan diferentes unas de otras, pero tan unicas y hermosas todas ellas!!

July!!! - Julio!!!

Already July, it's incredible how fast times go!! Before we notice, will be Christmas again, but meanwhile, let's continue enjoying Summer and everyday with all its gifts!!!!
Julio, increible como vuela el tiempo!! Antes de que nos demos cuenta, sera Navidad de nuevo, pero mientras, continuemos disfrutando del verano y de cada dia con todos sus regalos!!!!

 Can you see the cricket (John and I think it's a cricket!!) in the middle-up right side of the flower? And if this little insect can enjoy this flower, of course we can too!!!
Pueden ver el grillo (John y yo pensamos que es un grillito!!) en la parte media superior del lado derecho de la flor? Y si este pequeno insecto puede disfrutar de la flor, por supuesto nosotros tambien!!!
 

 Yes, they give us only few days to enjoy its beauty, but ''Life isn't measured by the number of breaths you take, but by every moment that takes your breath away'', and being able to enjoy them for sure can take some breaths away!! Si, solos nos dan unos dias para disfrutar de su belleza, pero ''La vida no se mide por las veces que respiras, sino por aquellos momentos que te dejan sin aliento'', y el poder disfrutar de ellas seguro que nos deja mas de una vez admirando su belleza!!

 The other day, at the clinic, a patient was talking about a tv reality show about chefs, and one of the finalists is a blind person, she was mentioning that you can't imagine how well she does her work, even at ''arranging'' the plate!! And make me think that even she can't ''see'' the flower, she surely can enjoy everything else, like the smell, the texture, many other things. And if she can,  we can probably even more, if we want!! 
El otro dia, en la clinica, una paciente estaba hablando sobre un show en la tele con diferentes chefs, una de las finalistas es una ciega, a lo que la paciente decia que era dificil imaginarse lo bien que esta chef hace su trabajo, hasta ''arreglando'' el plato!! Y esto me hace pensar que asi ella no pueda ''ver'' la flor, seguro que si puede gozar de su olor, textura, entre otras muchas cosas. Y si esta persona puede, nosotros probablemente podemos aun mas, si asi lo queremos!!
 

 This one is from the front garden, I think is a weed because is the only one there, but not sure!!
Esta es del jardin del frente, creo que es una maleza porque es la unica, pero no estoy segura!!

 Anyway, isn't it exquisite? De todas formas, no es exquisita?

   And the best part, just looking at them can help us to ''improve'' our lives!!
Y la mejor parte, solo con mirarlas nos pueden ayudar a ''mejorar''  nuestras vidas!!
