Autumn flowers!! - Flores de otono!!

As you probably have notice, Surrey has a lot of parks, and this one, Holland park, is very close to a bus station that I use frequently. The other day I had the opportunity to stop there for some minutes, and here you have some pictures of the flowers, trees, and plants in the park, enjoy them!!
Como probablemente ya han notado, Surrey tiene muchos parques, y este, parque Holanda, esta muy cerca a una estacion de buses que uso frecuentemente. El otro dia tuve la oportunidad de parar alli por unos minutos, y aqui tienen algunas fotos de las flores, arboles, y plantas en el parque, disfrutenlas!!

There are a lot of incredible things that God has given us to enjoy. We live in a beautiful world, we just need to open our eyes to appreciate how fantastic it is!!
Hay muchas cosas increibles que Dios nos ha dado para disfrutar. Vivimos en un mundo hermoso, solo necesitamos abrir nuestros ojos para apreciar que tan fantastico es!!

One of the blessings we have but sometimes forget about it, is that we can take a moment to become aware of all those normal everyday things, that sometimes become wonderful blessings!!
Una de las bendiciones que tenemos pero algunas veces nos olvidamos, es que podemos tomarnos un momento para volvernos conscientes de todas esas pequenas cosas cotidianas, que algunas veces se convierten en maravillosas bendiciones!!

We need to find the wonder and the marvel of everything, we need to work on the ''extra'', because is then when the extraordinary will come!!
Necesitamos encontrar lo asombroso y maravilloso en todo, necesitamos trabajar en lo ''extra'', porque es entonces cuando lo extraordinario vendra!!

For some people, this is only ''another flower'', but if we decide to take a closer look, we'll see its perfection, its magic, its exquisiteness!!
Para algunas personas, esta es simplemente ''otra flor'', pero si decidimos mirarla mas de cerca, veremos su perfeccion, su magia, su exquisites!! 

Look at the petals, the colors, a water drop, all these ''little'' things help us to see the perfection of nature!!
Miren los petalos, los colores, la gota de agua, todas ''pequenas'' cosas que nos ayudan a ver la perfecccion de la naturaleza!!

Nature, even in the most ''insignificant'' things, gives us perfect gifts!!
La naturaleza, aun en las cosas mas ''insignificantes'', nos da regalos perfectos!!
 

Just some ''simple'' water drops in some of its petals, but what a magic they can create!!
Solo algunas ''simples'' gotas de agua en algunos de sus petalos, pero que magia la que pueden crear!!

Nature makes no ''mistakes'', if you want to see perfection, look at nature!!
La naturaleza no comete ''errores'', si quieres ver perfeccion, mira a la naturaleza!!

Art tries to copy the perfection of nature, but even we cannot copy it, at least we are more aware of it!!
El arte trata de copiar la perfeccion de la naturaleza, pero aunque no podemos copiarla, al menos somos mas conscientes de ella!! 

We should learn from nature that everything takes its own time, we can learn patience from it!!
Debemos aprender de la naturaleza que todo se toma su tiempo, de ella podemos aprender la paciencia!!

Look at the center, at the water drops on the petals, at the form of the petals, all little details that sum up to make of this flower a gorgeous one!!Miren el centro, a las gotas de agua en los petalos, a la forma de los petalos, todos pequenos detalles que sumados hacen de esta flor una flor magnifica!!     

We can always choose to have a wonderful day, this decision is after us, because reasons to have it, abound in and around us!!
Siempre podemos escoger el tener un dia magnifico, esta decision depende de nosotros, porque razones para tenerlo, abundan en nosotros y a nuestro alrededor!!
  

What a masterpiece!!,  if looking for ''awe'' moments, you don't need to go to far!!
Que obra maestra!!, si estas buscando momentos que te ''roben el aliento'', no necesitas ir muy lejos!!

What a perfect ''teacher'' to teach us, that no matter what, life goes on and we need to keep moving forward!!
Que ''maestra'' mas perfecta para ensenarnos, que sin importar nada mas, la vida continua y necesitamos seguir adelante!!

We just celebrated Thanksgiving, but I think that we should be giving thanks every day of our lives!! How not to be grateful when we have so much beauty around?
Acabamos de celebrar Accion de Gracias, pero pienso que deberiamos dar gracias cada dia de nuestras vidas!! Como no ser agradecidos cuando tenemos tanta belleza alrededor?

I just hope that I'll continue appreciating beauty until the last day of my life!!
Solo espero poder continuar apreciando la belleza hasta el ultimo dia de mi vida!!

John and I sometimes tell to each other to take our love for each other to our own ''savings account'' at the bank of feelings. But precious moments like when we are enjoying nature, can also be saved in our memory, just in case we need them later in life!!
John y yo algunas veces nos decimos el tomar el amor del otro a nuestra propia ''cuenta de ahorros'' en el banco de los sentimientos. Pero momentos preciosos como cuando estamos disfrutando de la naturaleza, tambien pueden ser  guardados en nuestra memoria, en caso de que los necesitemos mas adelante en nuestras vidas!!

Not a big park, but with elements that make it great!!
No es un parque grande, pero con elementos que lo hacen grandioso!!

No creek, no pond, but a fountain with the enchanting sound of the water, that makes of this place another very pleasant park in Surrey!!
Sin quebrada, sin estanque, pero una fuente con el encantador sonido del agua, que hace de este lugar otro parque muy placentero en Surrey!! 

Life isn't perfect, but for sure we can fill it with perfect moments, and being able to marvel with these colors, with all the beauty in them, you can be sure I feel blessed!!

La vida no es perfecta, pero seguro que podemos llenarla de momentos perfectos, y ser capaz de maravillarme con estos colores, con toda la belleza que hay en ellos, pueden estar seguros que me siento bendecida!!  

 

Surrey Lake Park - Parque del Lago Surrey

Almost one week ago (last Sunday), we had another beautiful day here in Surrey, and with John wanting to enjoy more sunshine, we went to another park (Surrey Lake) for a short walk!!
Hace casi una semana (el pasado domingo), tuvimos otro hermoso dia aqui en Surrey, y con John queriendo disfrutar algo mas de sol, fuimos a otro parque (Lago Surrey) para una corta caminata!!

Just SPECTACULAR!! Look at this masterpiece of God's art, the wings, its body and its colors, everything about it!! So glad I was there, and that the dragonfly was there, what a perfect timing for a perfect opportunity!!
Simplemente ESPECTACULAR!! Miren esta obra de arte de Dios, las alas, su cuerpo y sus colores, todo sobre ella!! Super afortunada de haber estado alli, y que la libelula estaba alli, que momento mas perfecto para una oportunidad perfecta!!

Enjoying with them what nature has to offer to them and to us too!!
Disfrutando con ellas lo que la naturaleza les ofrece y a nosotros tambien!!

No se que estaban mirando, pero ambos lucen interesados!!

What a great day!! Nice weather, John and I enjoying the park together, John enjoying some sunshine meanwhile I was around taking pictures of some of the wonderful animals there, all ingredients for a great day!!
Que gran dia!! Clima agradable, John y yo juntos y gozando del parque, John disfrutando algo de sol mientras yo tomaba fotos de algunos animales maravillosos alrededor, todos ingredientes para un gran dia!!

One of the most important things in life is to enjoy it, to be happy, even with little things!! Like this spider, that gave me the opportunity to continue practicing close ups, and also gave me joy and a little more experience!!
Una de las cosas mas importantes en la vida es disfrutar de esta, ser feliz, aun con pequenas cosas!! Como esta arana, que me dio la oportunidad de seguir practicando acercamientos, y tambien me dio gozo y un poco mas de experiencia!!
  

I'm becoming more and more ''expert'' taking pictures of spiders and their webs, don't you agree?!!
Me estoy volviendo mas y mas ''experta'' tomando fotos de aranas y sus telaranas, no estan de acuerdo?!!

Was a short visit but very enjoyable with John, the dragonfly, ducks and turtles enjoying the lake, and the blue heron as well!!
Fue una visita corta pero muy agradable con John, la libelula, los patos y las tortugas disfrutando del lago, y la garza azul tambien!!

Bear Creek Park - Parque Quebrada del oso

And also last Thursday, after arriving home, John was feeling ''well'' and invited me to go for a short walk to Bear Creek Park!!
Y tambien el pasado jueves, luego de llegar a casa, John se sentia ''bien'' y me invito a una corta caminata en el parque Quebrada del oso!!

One of the entries to the park, and we both ready to continue enjoying the magnificent colors of Autumn and some sunshine!!
Una de las entradas al parque, y ambos listos para seguir disfrutando los magnificos colores de otono y algo de sol!!

Let's take a break and relax with this scenario!!
Vamos a tomarnos un descanso y relajarnos con este escenario!!

In times when we need to relax, to refresh, to recharge, nature is there to help us!!
En momentos en los que necesitamos relajarnos, refrescarnos, recargarnos, la naturaleza esta ahi para ayudarnos!!
 

Nature constantly offers us simple pleasures to enjoy. Opening ourselves up to the beauty around us is a wonderful way to bring more happiness and peace in our lives!!
La naturaleza nos ofrece constantemente placeres simples para gozar. Abrirnos a la belleza a nuestro alrededor es una forma maravillosa de atraer mas paz y felicidad a nuestras vidas!!
   

We need to delight in the beauty that surrounds us!! Look at the sun, moon, starts, we don't need to pay a penny to enjoy them!!
Necesitamos deleitarnos en la belleza que nos rodea!! Mira al sol, la luna, las estrellas, no necesitamos pagar ni un centavo para disfrutarles!!
 

Every now and then, we all need some time to relax, and places like this one are perfect for relaxation, believe me!!
De vez en cuando, todos necesitamos un rato para relajarnos, y lugares como este son perfectos para relajarse, creanme!! 

I used to think that cedars were from the pine family, but now I know they are part of  the conifers family, and that's why some of their leaves change to Autumn colors!! (Pines are evergreen trees.)
Solia pensar que los cedros eran de la familia de los pinos, pero ahora ya se que son parte de la familia de los coniferos, y es por esto que algunas de sus hojas cambian a colores otonales!! (Los pinos son siempre verdes.)

I'm very grateful with John, for inviting me and also for going with me!! This park has a lot of benches around, and meanwhile he was resting and enjoying some sunshine, I was taking pictures close by!!
Estoy muy agradecida con John, por invitarme y por ir conmigo!! Este parque tiene muchas bancas alrededor, y mientras el descansaba y disfrutaba algo de sol, yo estaba cerca tomando fotos!! 
 

I can't imagine somebody not enjoying this beauty!!
No puedo imaginarme a alguien no disfrutando de esta belleza!!

It's a fact that nature helps us to heal, even in pictures!! So, if you can't go outside, look at pictures of nature, like this one, that will help as well!!
Es un hecho que la naturaleza nos ayuda a sanar, aun en fotos!! Asi que, si no pueden salir, miren fotos de la naturaleza, como esta, que tambien ayuda!!    

And how it helps? When we are enjoying nature, our thoughts are focused in the here and now, we are enjoying the beauty of the natural world!!
Y como ayuda? Cuando estamos disfrutando de la naturaleza, nuestros pensamientos estan enfocados en el aqui y ahora, estamos disfrutando de la belleza del mundo natural!!

Don't know about you, but John and I are fascinated with these leaves, look at the size!!
No se si ustedes tambien, pero John y yo estamos fascinados con estas hojas, miren el tamano!!

It's a fact that colors can affect us in many ways, and Autumn colors like these ones, for sure, have a beneficial effect in us!!
Es un hecho que los colores nos pueden afectar en muchas formas, y colores otonales como estos, con seguridad, tienen un efecto beneficioso en nosotros!!

That day we enjoyed some really nice weather, but the day before was raining and I suppose these water drops are from the rain!!
Ese dia el clima estaba muy agradable, pero el dia anterior estuvo lloviendo y me supongo que las gotas de agua son de la lluvia!!

We both had a great time, enjoying the park in different ways, but being grateful we could be there together!!
Ambos pasamos un gran rato, disfrutando del parque en formas diferentes, pero agradecidos que pudimos estar juntos!!

This is a water plant, under all that little green leaves is a pond, and this plant with its radiant color is making that spot very notorious!!
Esta es una planta de agua, bajo esas pequenas hojas verdes hay un estanque, y esta planta con su radiante color hace este sitio en particular bien notorio!!
    

We need to be thankful for what we have instead of focusing on what we don't have. For me, coming from where I come, having places like this park, close to home, that I can visit whenever I want, and that I get so much pleasure from, is priceless!!
Necesitamos ser agradecidos con lo que tenemos en vez de enfocarnos en lo que no tenemos. Para mi, viniendo de donde vengo, tener lugares como este parque, cerca a casa, que puedo visitar cuando quiero, y que me da tanto placer, no tiene precio!!

And being with my Sweetheart (back, right side of the picture), even better!!
Y estando con mi amor (atras, lado derecho de la foto), aun mejor!!
 

Have you noticed that when you are in nature, mind and body are in the here and now?, that you notice things like birds singing?, that your thoughts are clear?, all of these and much more are benefits we get when in contact with nature!!
Han notado que cuando estan en la naturaleza, el cuerpo y la mente estan en el aqui y ahora?, que notas mas los pajaros cantando?, que tus pensamientos se aclaran?, todo esto y mucho mas son beneficios que conseguimos cuando estamos en contacto con la naturaleza!!

Maybe it's doing things that I love, maybe it's being with the person I love, maybe it's sharing this blog with all of you, I just know that all of these and many more, make my life a wonderful one!!
Talvez es hacer cosas que adoro, talvez es estar con la persona que amo, talvez es compartir este blog con todos ustedes, solo se que todo esto y mucho mas, hacen mi vida maravillosa!!

How fortunate we are that even during Autumn, we are still enjoying beautiful flowers around!!
Que afortunados somos que aun durante otono, continuamos disfrutando de hermosas flores alrededor!!

My favorite one from this post!! Can you see the spider constructing  its web? Just spectacular!! Zoom on the picture and you'll be able to see that the spider is still working on its web, and also some of its barbs in the legs!!
Mi favorita de esta tanda!! Pueden ver la arana construyendo su telarana? Simplemente espectacular!! Amplien la foto y podran ver que la arana aun esta trabajando en su telarana, y tambien algunos de los ''pelitos'' en sus patas!! 

I was thinking about how things can be ''interpreted'' in different ways. For spiders, to construct webs is part of their lives, but for us, to be able to see them constructing their webs, is a wonderful experience, a miracle!!
Estaba pensando en como podemos ''interpretar'' las cosas en formas diferentes. Para las aranas, construir telaranas es parte de sus vidas, pero para nosotros, poder verlas construyendo sus telaranas, es una experiencia maravillosa, un milagro!!  

Something else I noticed that day was that animals like this rabbit are more OK with me going closer to them, and I'm grateful because I was able to take closer pictures!!
Algo mas que note ese dia fue que animales como este conejo estan mas ''OK'' conmigo acercandome mas a ellos, y estoy agradecida porque pude tomar fotos mas de cerca!!
 

What a great gift we have being able to witness the beauty of nature!!
Que gran regalo tenemos al poder ser testigos de la belleza de la naturaleza!!
  

For me, a picture is about capturing the moment, it's a way to show you the world through my eyes!!
Para mi, una foto es acerca de capturar el momento, es una forma de mostrarles el mundo a travez de mis ojos!!
 

And if you can see even a minimum beauty in it, my purpose has been accomplished!!
Y si pueden ver aunque sea  un poco de belleza en la foto, mi proposito se ha cumplido!!

What a magical Autumn with all the reds, oranges, yellows, and greens, all around us!!
Que otono mas magico con todos los rojos, naranjas, amarillos, y verdes, a todo nuestro alrededor!!

And before leaving, this beautiful squirrel was there for us to finish the visit to the park with a golden brooch!! I'm still fascinated with its tail, bigger than its body!! 

Y antes de irnos, esta hermosa ardilla estaba alli para nosotros finalizar la visita al parque con broche de oro!! Yo aun estoy fascinada con su cola, mas grande que su cuerpo!!
