September!! - Septiembre!!

Well, after some days, today I'm continuing posting pictures from our daily and spectacular life in Canada!!
And with these last ones, I finish posting the ones from September.
Bueno, luego de algunos dias, hoy continuo bajando fotos de nuestra vida diaria y espectacular en Canada!!
Y con estas ultimas, termino las de Septiembre.
 

Bear Creek Park, a nice afternoon for a walk around the park and to enjoy all the ''little details'' that make life even more spectacular!!
Parque quebrada del oso, una tarde agradable para caminar alrededor del parque y disfrutar de todos esos ''pequenos detalles'' que hacen la vida aun mas espectacular!!

Una flor preciosa, y el olor es aun mas increible!!

 Think we have a similar one in Colombia, but not sure. Anyway, glad we can enjoy it here!!
Creo que tenemos una similar en Colombia, pero no estoy segura. De todas formas, que bien que aqui podemos disfrutarla!!

 John still enjoying the nice weather for shorts ..... and of course, the surroundings ..... and the company!!

 No matter the time of the year, always flowers around and always beautiful!!
No importa la epoca del ano, siempre flores alrededor y siempre hermosas!!

 And this is Bella, the kitty of a friend of us, also enjoying life!! ..... playing with her little mouse!!
Y esta es Bella, la gatica de una amiga, tambien disfrutando de la vida!! .... jugando con su ratoncito!!

 Do you remember the bougatsa?, the dessert we had for John's birthday?, well, here it's, home made, still missing the cinnamon and the confectioners sugar.
Se acuerdan del bougatsa? el postre que tuvimos para el cumpleanos de John?, bueno, aqui lo tienen, hecho en casa, aun sin el azucar y la canela que lleva por encima.
 

 Sept. 29, John and I went to a fundraiser dinner and center pieces like this one were in each table, and even with fake flowers, they looked so nice!!!, don't you agree?
Sept. 29, John y yo fuimos a una cena de recaudacion de fondos y habia centros de mesa como este en cada mesa, y aunque con flores falsas, lucian preciosos!!!, no estan de acuerdo?

And to finish with September's pictures, a perfect flower, for a perfect closing!!

 But improved later, when we were going to another island. And of course, more sailors were enjoying the long weekend!!
Pero mejoro mas tarde, cuando ibamos para otra isla.Y por supuesto, mas navegantes estaban disfrutando del puente!!

 And as us, all kind of other creatures like these seagulls, were enjoying the beautiful surroundings!!
Y como nosotros, toda  clase de criaturas como estas gaviotas, estabamos disfrutando de los hermosos alrededores!!

 And yes, the long one is Esperanza!! Y si, el largo es Esperanza!!

 And this is the little one, the one we use to go to land. We left it in dry land and came back to found it in the water (high tide!!) Y este es el pequenito que usamos para ir a la playa.  Lo dejamos en seco y cuando regresamos lo encontramos en el agua (marea alta!!)

 And as I mentioned before, all kind of creatures enjoying around, like this beautiful blue herron!!
Y como mencione antes, toda clase de criaturas disfrutando alrededor, como esta hermosa garza azul!!

 Do you remember active pass? here you have another 3 ferries, 2 going and 1 coming!!
Se acuerdan del paso activo? aqui tienen otros 3 ferries, 2 llendo y uno entrando!!

 And to finish with a wonderful day, how not to enjoy a beautiful sunset like this one?
Y para terminar con este hermoso dia, como no disfrutar de un hermoso atardecer como este?

 A little later, and still spectacular!! Un poco mas tarde, y aun  espectacular!!

 Last day, coming back home and flying our new Canadian flag!!
Ultimo dia, regresando a casa y usando nuestra nueva bandera canadiense!!

 Can you see the small barge?, it stills amaze me how that little barge can bulk so much heavier cargo!!
Pueden ver el pequeno barco-remolque? aun me impresiona como un barquito tan pequeno puede remolcar carga mucho mas pesada!!

  That's the last part of the cargo, with some ''extra weight'' from the seagulls enjoying a free ride. Look at the border of the cargo, it seems it'll sink any minute!!
Esta es la ultima parte de la carga, con algo de ''peso extra'' de las gaviotas disfrutando de un viaje gratis. Miren el borde de la carga, parece que se fuera a hundir en cualquier momento!!

 Aug. 31st. and first night of our last trip of the summer. After having dinner at the marina, we went for a nice walk to enjoy the full moon and each other company, of course!!!!
Agosto 31 y nuestra primera noche del ultimo viaje del verano. Luego de cenar en la marina, fuimos a dar una agradable caminada para disfrutar de la luna llena y de la compania del otro, por supuesto!!!!

 Sept. 1st. and the first sight of a seal!!

 Do you remember me mentioning something I really liked?, well, here it's, another kind of deer!!!!

John's Birthday!! - Cumpleanos de John!!

Almost 3 weeks later, but here I'm with John's birthday pictures, between others!!!

 August 28, 2012. 59 years old and enjoying it!!! Agosto 28, 2012. 59 anos y disfrutando!!!

 We went to New York New York, a GREEK restaurant!!
Fuimos al New York New York, un restaurante GRIEGO!!

 And it was a very "international" dinner, in a greek resturant named New York New York, with a non Canadian (yet!!) wife, that was wearing an Indian attire!! But great, anyway.
Y fue una cena muy "internacional", en un restaurante griego llamado New York New York, con una esposa no canadiense (aun!!), que vestia un atuendo de la India!! Pero formidable de todas formas.
 

 And now, Dolly, the pitbull of a friend of us. Very good behave dog.
Y ahora, Dolly, la pitbull de un amigo. Una perra que se comporta divinamente.
 

 And even she doesn't like it very much,  she comes with her master in his motorcicle!!
Y aunque no le fascina, viene con su amo en su moto!!

But of course, in a side car just for her!!
Pero por supuesto, en un carrito lateral especial para ella!!

Crescent Beach - Playa Crescent (Creciente)

After some days away, here I'm again!! and this time with some pictures from Crescent Beach, where our first picture together was taken 3 years and some months ago!!
It was a nice day and with wonderful memories!!
Luego de algunos dias sin bajar nada, aqui estoy de nuevo!! y esta vez con algunas fotos de la playa Crescent (creciente), donde nuestra primera foto juntos fue tomada hace 3 anos y unos meses!!
Fue un dia muy agradable y con recuerdos formidables!!

 I was thinking that his father isn't the smarter one letting him to do that, but sure the child was enjoying himself!!
Estaba pensando que el padre no es el mas inteligente dejandolo saltar asi, pero seguro que el nino lo estaba disfrutando!!

 And fortunately, wasn't as dangerous as I thought!! Y afortunadamente, no fue tan peligroso como yo pensaba!!

 And of course, me too, sometimes using him as a ''model'', some other times letting nature to be the protagonist!!
Y por supuesto, yo tambien, algunas veces usandolo de ''modelo'', otras veces dejando a la naturaleza ser la protagonista!!

 I suppose the origin of the name (Crescent) comes from the tides and how fast they change, like in 3 hours the water can be covering the beach again!!
Me supongo que el origen del nombre (Creciente) viene de las mareas y que tan rapido cambian, como en 3 horas el agua puede estar cubriendo la playa de nuevo!!
