Dec. 4/15. My landlord's company Christmas party. I'm the one ready to begin to turn.
Dic. 4/15. La fiesta de Navidad de la compania de los duenos de donde vivo. Soy la que estoy lista para comenzar a voltear.

And this time, somebody took me some pictures, enjoy a couple of them!!
Y esta vez, alguien me tomo unas cuantas fotos, disfruten un par de ellas!!

A chilly but gorgeous Winter morning!! (The trees in my backyard!!)
Una helada pero preciosa manana de invierno!! (Los arboles de mi jardin trasero!!)

That morning I needed to walk some more blocks than normal to pick up the bus I needed, and saw this one flying towards me, stopped there and gave me time to take my camera out and take the picture, what a wonderful way to begin the day!!
Esa manana necesite caminar unas cuadras mas de lo normal para tomar el bus que necesitaba, y la vi volando hacia mi, se paro ahi y me dio tiempo para sacar mi camara y tomar la foto, que formidable manera de comenzar el dia!!
  

And surprise, surprise, not just one, yes, 3 eagles, I was fascinated!!!
Y sorpresa, sorpresa, no solo una, si, 3 aguilas, estaba fascinada!!!

The most popular Christmas plant, most of them are sold in a period of 6 weeks before Dec. 24!!
La planta mas popular de Navidad, la mayoria de ellas son vendidas en un periodo de 6 semanas antes de Dic. 24!!
 

Dec. 17. I was working when somebody came and said it was snowing. What do you think I did? I ran outside and took some pictures!!
Dic. 17. Estaba trabajando cuando alguien entro y dijo que estaba nevando. Que creen que hice? Corri afuera y tome algunas fotos!!

Even it was just a little, I was elated!!!
Aunque fue solo un poco, estaba euforica!!!
 

Incredible how something so "natural" can make me feel so amazingly great!!
Increible como algo tan "natural" puede hacerme sentir tan asombrosamente bien!!

Came back home and even after some rain, there was still some snow on the fence!!
Regrese a casa y aun despues de algo de lluvia, todavia habia algo de nieve en la cerca!!

And with such "warm" temperatures lately, my tulips began coming out sooner than expected!!
Y con temperaturas tan "templadas" ultimamente, mis tulipanes comenzaron a salir antes de lo esperado!!

Isn't it gorgeous? I'm writing this Jan 11/16, and yesterday I took it down, but still have the picture to continue enjoying it ..... until next Christmas season!!
No es preciosa? Estoy escribiendo esto el 11 de Enero de 2016, y ayer la quite, pero aun tengo la foto para continuar disfrutandola ..... hasta la proxima temporada navidena!!

Not very lucky keeping them alive and beautiful for more than some weeks, but anyways I enjoy them for as long as I can .... and I also can enjoy them in pictures!!
No tengo mucha suerte en mantenerlas vivas y bonitas por mas de unas semanas, pero igual las disfruto por tanto tiempo como puedo .... y tambien puedo disfrutarlas en fotos!!

Kind of like with the coyote, I "heard" them, ran for my camera, and this time I fortunately was able to take the picture with the geese still "visible"!!

Every now and then there is a picture that fascinates me, and this is one of them!!

I couldn't finish with the pictures of this year before the year ends, but I know you'll enjoy December ones even if you see them next year!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
No pude terminar con las fotos de este ano antes de que el ano termine, pero se que van a disfrutar las de Diciembre aunque las vean el ano entrante!!!! FELIZ ANO NUEVO!!!

Very lucky I was able to take the picture with the bird up there for all of us to see the spots on its chest- belly and the beautiful tail as well!!
Muy afortunada de haber podido tomar la foto con el pajaro ahi arriba para que podamos ver los puntos en su pecho- estomago y su hermosa cola tambien!!

Came back from work and was still clear enough to be able to take the picture of the clouds but with the beautiful colors only the beginning of becoming darker could bring!!!
Regrese de trabajar y aun estaba lo suficientemente claro para poder tomar la foto de las nubes pero con los hermosos colores que solo cuando esta comenzando a oscurecer puede brindar!!!
 

Yes, it was Autumn but still able to enjoy beautiful natural flowers!! Went grocery shopping and as they had the roses on sale, got these ones and how much beauty they added to my home!!
Si, era otono pero aun pudiendo disfrutar de hermosas flores naturales!! Fui a mercar y como tenian las rosas en oferta, compre estas y ya se imaginaran cuanta belleza agregaron a mi hogar!!

Roses are the most popular flowers in the world, and being so beautiful it's something completely logical!!
Las rosas son las flores mas populares del mundo, y siendo tan hermosas es algo completamente logico!!

First time since I live here I saw a coyote inside my backyard!!! Very fast, meanwhile focusing my camera it went to the other side of the fence (the arrow is showing one of its paws!!)
Primera vez desde que vivo aqui que vi un coyote dentro de mi jardin trasero!!! Muy rapido, mientras enfocaba la camara se paso al otro lado de la verja (la flecha muestra una de sus patas!!)

Remember when I went to vote? Took this one and the next one meanwhile resting seated on a bench and enjoying the colors around!!
Recuerdan cuando fui a votar? Tome esta y la siguiente mientras descansaba sentada en una banca y disfrutando los colores alrededor!!

And even it took me a lot of effort to go to vote, it also helped me to feel great being able to vote for the first time as a Canadian citizen but also taking time to rest and be delighted with the surroundings!!
Y aunque ese dia me tomo bastante esfuerzo, tambien me ayudo a sentirme grandiosa el poder ir a votar por primera vez como ciudadana Canadiense pero tambien el tomarme tiempo para descansar y deleitarme con los alrededores!!

The sweet potato and pecans casserole I prepared for my Thanksgiving dinner (4 days after my surgery and being unable to go out to celebrate!!) It was delicious!!
La patata dulce (batata, boniato) y pacanas que prepare para mi cena de Accion de Gracias (4 dias despues de la cirujia e incapaz de salir a celebrar!!) Estaba deliciosa!!
  

After a rainy morning went to pick up the mail, came back home, grabbed the camera and went back outside to take some pictures!!
Luego de una manana lluviosa fui a recoger el correo, volvi a casa, coji la camara y volvi afuera a tomar algunas fotos!!

Taking my time and walking slowly I came back close to the mail box and took these pictures!!
Tomandome mi tiempo y caminando despacio regrese cerca al apartado postal y tome estas fotos!!

I think raindrops help everything to look even prettier, don't you agree?!!

Pilar's visit. - Visita de Pilar.

More than two months after Pilar left, and here I'm just posting the ones after the cruise, back home and enjoying Pilar's visit for some more days!!
Luego de mas de dos meses luego de que Pilar se fue, y apenas ahora estoy bajando las de luego del crucero, de regreso en casa y disfrutando de la visita de Pilar por unos dias mas!!

And the night we came back, Sept. 27, the eclipse!!
Y la noche que regresamos, Sept. 27, el eclipse!!

A la manana siguiente, preciosa!!

Bear Creek Park (of course she couldn't leave without visiting my favorite park!!), enjoying a beautiful Autumn afternoon.
Parque Quebrada del oso (por supuesto no se podia ir sin visitar mi parque favorito!!), disfrutando de una hermosa tarde otonal.
 

Every season has its charm, and for me these colors are Autumn's most charming thing!!
Cada estacion tiene su encanto, y para mi estos colores son lo mas encantador del otono!!

Les apuesto que ella nunca sono tener una foto con una mama osa y su osezno!! Jajaja.

White Rock beach. Yes, it's a house and "normal" people but lovers of Medieval times live there!!
Playa Roca Blanca. Si, es una casa y gente "normal" pero amantes de epocas Mediavales viven ahi!!
 

I think that was one of the few eagles Pilar saw during her visit (besides the "white" lamp!!)
Creo que esta fue una de las pocas aguilas que Pilar vio durante su visita (al lado de la lampara "blanca"!!)

It really is "impossible" for me not to enjoy places like this one, with the seagulls, Mt. Baker, the ocean, and a magnificent sunset, all things that make me feel alive and with a tremendous joy!!!
Realmente es "imposible" para mi no disfrutar lugares como este, con las gaviotas, Monte Baker, el oceano, y un atardecer magnifico, todas cosas que me hacen sentir viva y con un gozo tremendo!!!
  

This kind of scenery is pretty "common", but let's enjoy each one of them, because each one of them is different and breathtaking in its own way!!
Esta clase de escena es bien "comun", pero vamos a disfrutar de cada una de ellas, porque cada una de ellas es diferente e imponente a su manera!!
 

"Run, run, I want a picture with the seagulls flying!!" I said, and I got it!!
"Corre, corre, quiero una foto con las gaviotas volando!!" le dije, y la consegui!!

Escojamos ver la belleza alrededor, esta en nosotros el decidir verla!!!

There is nothing like the beauty of nature to quiet my mind, to assure me that there is always hope, to help me to "heal"!!
No hay nada como la belleza de la naturaleza para acallar mi mente, para asegurarme que siempre hay esperanza, para ayudarme a "sanar"!!
