Gone now!! - Ya se fueron!!

Want to post some new pictures I took this week, but first want to finish with the tulips, that now are gone since like 2 days ago!!
Quiero bajar unas fotos nuevas que tome esta semana, pero primero quiero terminar con las de los tulipanes, que ya no los tengo desde hace como 2 dias!!

They opened a little more, but not totally, and once I through them away, they were kind of closed again!! But now I have the memories .... and the pictures too!!
Abrieron un poco mas, pero no totalmente, y una vez los tire, ya estaban como cerrados de nuevo!! Pero ahora tengo los recuerdos .... y las fotos tambien!!

 The night before my citizenship test they had (where I go for counseling) a "remembrance ceremony", I didn't go but my counselor mentioned John and gave me the heart and the little card the following week, lovely, isn't it?!! I added the tulip!!!
La noche antes de mi examen de ciudadania tuvieron (donde voy a consejeria) una "ceremonia de recuerdo", no fui pero mi consejera menciono a John y me dio el corazon y la tarjetica a la semana siguiente, precioso, no?!! Yo agregue el tulipan!!!

And with this one I finish the pictures of the tulips I had, but glad I can still "enjoy" them in the pictures!!
Y con esta termino las fotos de los tulipanes que tuve, pero feliz que todavia puedo "disfrutarles" en las fotos!!

If you don't know tulips are my favorite flowers, with this post I'm sure you'll know!!
All the pictures from the tulips were taken the same day, but at 3 different times, and look the difference some hours can do!!
Si no saben que los tulipanes son mis flores favoritas, con esta tanda estoy segura que lo sabran!!
Todas las fotos de los tulipanes fueron tomadas el mismo dia, pero en 3 momentos diferentes, y miren la diferencia que unas horas pueden hacer!!

One day later, a little more open, with a little more color, and still fascinating me!!
Un dia mas tarde, un poco mas abiertos, con un poco mas de color, y aun fascinandome!!

   

 

And to continue playing with my new camera, a cara cara orange was the object of my practice, and I love the result!!
Y para continuar jugando con mi nueva camera, una naranja cara cara fue el objeto de mi practica, y me encanta el resultado!!

And this one is the last one for today, next time .... probably more tulips!!!!
Y esta es la ultima por hoy, la proxima .... probablemente mas tulipanes!!!!

Playing!! - Jugando!!

Last weekend I didn't go to any park, and either the weekend before, I was in bed!! But not being able to go to parks or other beautiful places isn't stopping me from playing with my new camera .... at home!!
El pasado fin de semana no fui a ningun parque, y tampoco el anterior, estaba en cama!! Pero el no poder ir a parques u otros lugares hermosos no me detiene de jugar con mi nueva camara .... en la casa!!

Remember the tulips I got when John, his brother Dan and I went to the tulip's festival last year?
They are coming back!!! You cannot imagine my emotion when I saw this one!!
Recuerdan los tulipanes que consegui cuando John, su hermano Dan y yo fuimos al festival de tulipanes el ano pasado? Estan regresando!!! No se pueden imaginar mi emocion cuando vi este!!

Now I need to "move" them to a bigger flower pot!! And continue enjoying life's miracles!!
Ahora necesito "pasarlos" a una matera mas grande!! Y continuar disfrutando de los milagros de la vida!!

And as my "mood" has been up and down lately, apples are very good to "lift" it and of course, I'm trying everything I can!!
Y como mi "animo" ha estado sube y baja ultimamente, las manzanas son muy buenas para "levantarlo" y por supuesto, yo estoy intentando con todo lo que puedo!!
 

Now I need to continue playing more with the lights, I wasn't in an studio, I was in my kitchen!!
Ahora necesito continuar jugando mas con las luces, no estaba en un estudio, estaba en mi cocina!!

And without being a "perfect" picture, I'm enjoying eating the apples, and taking pictures of them too!! And I'm learning too, next ones probably will be better!!
Y sin ser una foto "perfecta", estoy disfrutando comiendome las manzanas, y tambien tomando fotos de ellas!! Y tambien estoy aprendiendo, los proximas probablemente seran mejores!!

And as I got tomatoes too, of course I used them as "models"!!
Y como tambien consegui tomates, por supuesto los use de "modelos"!!
 

I love this one, has "something" that fascinates me!!
Esta me encanta, tiene "algo" que me fascina!!

And to continue surrounding myself with beauty and things that make me feel happy, I got tulips too!!
Y para continuar rodeandome de belleza y con cosas que me hacen sentir feliz, tambien consegui tulipanes!!

It was drizzling but I decided to came back walking anyway, and as I had the tulips in my hand, they got some of the rain drops, and I really love how they look on the petals!!
Estaba lloviznando pero decidi volverme caminando de todas formas, y como tenia los tulipanes en la mano, quedaron con algunas de las gotas de la llovizna, y me encanta como lucen en los petalos!!

My younger sister, Tere, sent me a link to a photography website, and in one of the pictures somebody wrote: "It's so important to make someone happy! Start with yourself!!" And with getting the tulips and enjoying them as much as I can, I'm doing it!!
Mi hermana menor, Tere, me mando un link a un website de fotografia, y en una de las fotos alguien escribio: "Es tan importante hacer feliz a alguien! Comienza contigo mism@!!" Y al conseguirme los tulipanes y disfrutar de ellos tanto como puedo, lo estoy haciendo!!

"El corazon y la mente son los verdaderos lentes de la camara." Yousuf  Karsh. Y cuando estoy tomando fotos, creanme, todo mi corazon y mi mente estan enfocados en ese momento!!

Even it's still Winter, now you can get a lot of flowers that with their bursting colors are letting us know that Spring is coming!!
Aunque aun es invierno, ahora ya se pueden conseguir flores que con sus colores vibrantes nos dejan saber que la primavera ya viene!!

And yes, I'm enjoying these ones too, and sharing them with the amazing people I share them with, is even better!!
Y si, estas tambien las estoy disfrutando, y compartirlas con la gente tan asombrosa con quienes las comparto, es aun mejor!!
 

Some times I like to think that I captured a "piece of time", like with this one, where the tulip was bending, with some rain drops, and its beauty at that specific moment. One day later, a little more open, no drops, and standing up (will post more pictures another time)!!
Algunas veces me gusta creer que capture un "momento en el tiempo", como con esta, donde el tulipan estaba algo caido, con algunas gotas de lluvia, y su belleza en ese momento especifico. Un dia despues, un poco mas abierto, sin gotas, y derecho (bajare mas fotos mas adelante)!!

01-29-2015. Stanley Park - Parque Stanley.

As I mentioned, after my citizenship test and feeling very proud to be a "Canadian", went to another of my favorites parks, Stanley Park.
Ah!! All of them are from my "old" camera!! 
Como mencione, luego de mi examen de ciudadania y sintiendome muy orgullosa de ser una "Canadiense", fui a otro de mis parques favoritos, Parque Stanley.
Ah!! Todas ellas son de la camara "vieja"!!

And after all the emotion with my new citizenship, I continued enjoying the day and a new duck breed, first time seeing this kind!!!
Y luego de toda la emocion con mi nueva ciudadania, continue disfrutando del dia y de una nueva raza de pato, primera vez que veo esta clase!!

With the eyes closed, find it interesting that when the eyes are open they are black!!
Con los ojos cerrados, encuentro interesante que cuando los tienen abiertos son negros!!

Look at the feathers, how wonderful nature art is!!
Miren las plumas, que maravilloso es el arte de la naturaleza!!

Definitely, I love water reflections!!!!
Something that John and I had in common was our love for water, and that day, feeling his presence in such a strong way, being around water was kind of a "way" to feel him even closer!!
Definitivamente, adoro los reflejos en el agua!!!!
Algo que John y yo teniamos en comun era nuestro amor por el agua, y ese dia, sintiendo bastante fuerte su presencia, estar alrededor de agua fue como una "forma" de sentirlo aun mas cerca!!
    

Bridge to a Naval Academy, that us, civilians, cannot enter!! I wish I could to take more pictures from there!!
Puente a una Academia Naval, que nosotros, como civiles, no podemos entrar!! Desearia poder entrar y tomar mas fotos desde adentro!!

But I'm also happy and glad I can take as many as I want from outside!!
Pero tambien soy feliz y afortunada de poder tomar tantas como quiera desde afuera!!

The bridge, the Academy (brick building), and Vancouver skyline.
El puente, la Academia (edificio de ladrillos), y la linea de horizonte de Vancouver.

Secrets carved in wood that tell stories of "our" land (now mine too!!!) and the First Nations (the aboriginals) who first lived on the shores of this spectacular province!! The First Nations of this coast are famous for this kind of art, the totem poles.
This is the most recent totem pole, added in 2009. 
Secretos tallados en madera que nos cuentan historias de "nuestra" tierra (ahora mia tambien!!!) y de las Primeras Naciones (los aborigenes) que primero vivieron en las costas de esta espectacular provincia!! Las Primeras Naciones de esta costa son famosas por esta clase de arte, los totems.
Este es el mas reciente, puesto alli en el 2009.  

This part of the park, where the totems are, is British Columbia's most visited tourist attraction.
And every time I had been in this park, I take at least one picture here!! 
Esta parte del parque, donde estan los totems, es la atraccion turistica mas visitada en British Columbia. Y cada vez que he estado en este parque, aqui tomo al menos una foto!!
  

There are nine poles in here, and today you can see 5 of them in my pictures, the last one added (first picture), then another one (second picture), and these 3, enjoy them!!
Hay nueve totems aqui, y hoy pueden ver 5 en mis fotos, el ultimo que pusieron (primera foto), otro (segunda foto), y estos 3, disfrutenlos!!

Geese and ducks sharing the park. Their feathers have similar colors, and I was thinking that some people could be assuming that the ducks are the goslings!!
Gansos y patos compartiendo el parque. Sus plumas son de colores similares, y estaba pensando que alguna gente podria asumir que los patos son gansitos!!

And another kind of duck, first time I saw this kind too!!!
Y otra clase de pato, primera vez que veo este tambien!!!

Lion's Bridge, and the "little mermaid." Every time I see this "Girl in a wet suit" (the real name!), I think of the "little mermaid" in Copenhagen, Denmark!!
El puente del Leon, y la "sirenita." Cada vez que veo esta "Nina en traje de buceo" (su nombre real!), pienso en la "sirenita" en Copenhague, Dinamarca!!

There for the pleasure of every one ..... including this seagull!!!
Ahi para el placer de todos ...... incluyendo esta gaviota!!!

And after a wonderful short visit to the park, took this one going to the bus stop and ready to come back home!!
Y luego de una corta y maravillosa visita al parque, tome esta llendo hacia el paradero del bus y lista para regresar a casa!!
