Here again!!! - 2013 - Aqui de nuevo!!!

Here again after some months!!! But I'm glad that today, April 7th. 2013, I'm back!!!!
Aqui de nuevo despues de varios meses!!! Pero que bien que hoy, Abril 7 de 2013, estoy de regreso!!!!

And to begin, here you have Bella, a friend's beautiful cat!! She really enjoys being on top of a shelf in the bathroom and look at herself in the mirror!!
Y para comenzar, aqui tienen a Bella, la hermosa gata de una amiga!! Le encanta ponerse sobre la tarimita del bano y mirarse en el espejo!!  

 But also look at the ones looking at her!!! Pero tambien, mirar a los que la estamos mirando!!

 And Spring was coming!! With flowers blooming and still raining!!
Y Primavera ya venia en camino!! Con las flores comenzando a brotar y aun lloviendo!!

 But looking to all the beauty around, who cares about some rain that add even more beauty?
Pero mirando a tanta belleza alrededor, quien se preocupa por algo de lluvia que antes agrega mas belleza?
 

 And to take advantage of the first Sunday with nice weather, we went to a park near by and enjoyed what nature was offering us!!
Y para tomar ventaja del primer Domingo con clima agradable, nos fuimos a un parque cerca a casa y disfrutamos de lo que la naturaleza nos ofrecia!!

 Nice sunshine, geese and ducks around, being able to walk around for a little while, what a powerful ''shot'' to improve our health and lives!!
Un agradable solecito, gansos y patos alrededor, ser capaces de caminar alrededor por un rato, que ''injeccion'' mas poderosa para mejorar nuestra salud y nuestras vidas!!

 Yes, that's me with my new short hair look!!!
Si, esa soy yo con mi nuevo look de pelo corto!!!

 It's so amazing to look around and see how nature continues growing, blooming, regenerating, and even more knowing we all are part of the miracle of life!!!
Es increible mirar alrededor y ver como la naturaleza continua creciendo, floreciendo, regenerandose, y mas aun sabiendo que todos somos parte del milagro de la vida!!!

 Same park, still walking and taking some minutes to rest and enjoy what is there for us, like the eagle (right side of the picture) taking care of the nest and his partner (left side of the picture)!!
Mismo parque, aun caminando y tomandonos algunos minutos para descansar y disfrutar lo que hay ahi para nosotros, como el aguila (lado derecho de la foto) cuidando el nido y su pareja (lado izquierdo de la foto)!!
  

 And even we were able to see the white head of the one in the nest, was impossible to take a picture that you could see it!!
Y aunque nosotros si pudimos ver la cabeza blanca del aguila en el nido, fue imposible tomar una foto que ustedes la pudieran ver!!

 One day I'll take my other camera with the big zoom, to take closer pictures, but anyway, I'm really happy with the pictures of my little camera!!! You can even notice the wind moving some of his feathers!!
Un dia llevare mi otra camara con el zoom, para tomar fotos que se vean mas cercanas, pero de todas formas, me siento feliz con las fotos de  mi pequena camara!!! Hasta se puede notar el viento moviendo algunas de sus plumas!!
 

 And of course, John also wanted one of the eagle!! Y por supuesto, John tambien quizo una del aguila!!

 These flowers are some of the first ones you can see at the beginning of Spring, they normally are around places with water. Estas flores son algunas de las primeras que se ven al comienzo de Primavera, normalmente alrededor de lugares con agua. 

 And even you don't see the water in these ones, don't try to go closer, your shoes will be all cover with mud!! Y aunque no se vea el agua en estas, no traten de acercarse, los zapatos se les cubriran con lodo!!

 April, 2009!!! Ready to go to a wedding. Abril del 2009!!! Listo para ir a una boda.
 

 Same suit, 4 years later ..... and a lot less pounds!! Mismo traje, 4 anos mas tarde ....... y muchos menos kilos!!

 And by the end of March, crocuses are open in all its splendor!! (And I just learned that saffron comes from a flower from this family!!) Y para el final de Marzo, las flores del azafran esta abiertas en todo su esplendor!! (Acabo de aprender que el azafran sale de una flor de la familia de estas!!)

December!! - Diciembre!!

Well, after almost one month, I'm back with some pictures from the last couple of days!!
Bueno, luego de casi un mes, aqui estoy de regreso con algunas fotos del ultimo par de dias!!

 Dec. 18/12. First ''real snow'' in Surrey. Last Saturday was snowing-raining and wasn't even staying, but this day was different, more snow stayed!!
Dic. 18/12. La primera ''nieve real'' en Surrey. El sabado pasado estuvo nevando-lloviendo y ni siquiera se quedaba, pero este dia fue diferente, mas nieve se quedo!!

 Today, Dec. 19. Even still raining, we can enjoy more snow and hopefully more is coming our way!!
Hoy, Dic. 19. Aunque aun esta lloviendo, tenemos mas nieve para disfrutar y espero que venga mas!!

But happy enough to enjoy the one we have right now!!!
Pero feliz disfrutando la que tenemos ahora!!!

Winter wonderland!! - Invierno maravilloso!!

Last weekend John took me to Mt. Seymour, a nice ski resort in Vancouver, to enjoy the first snow of the season!! Was a rainy, foggy, windy day, but I didn't care too much about it, just trying to enjoy the snow as much as I could...... and John enjoying seeing me so happy. Up there was snowing a little and with the wind, it was hitting my face, but anyway, enjoyed a lot my first snow of the season!!!!
Unfortunately I didn't take a lot of pictures, the battery of my camera went empty up there, and even John had his camera ...... his memory card went full after a couple of pictures!!
Anyway, it's Dec. 19 today, and I just want to post it now, then, as the saying says ''a picture worth more than a thousand words'', I'm not commenting about all of them!!  
El pasado fin de semana John me llevo a Mt. Seymour, un resort de esqui muy bonito en Vancouver, para disfrutar de la primera nieve de la temporada!! Fue un dia lluvioso, con neblina, con bastante viento, pero a mi no me importo mucho, simplemente estaba tratando de disfrutar de la nieve tanto como pudiera ..... y John disfrutando de verme tan feliz. Alli arriba estaba nevando un poco y con el viento, la nieve golpeaba mi cara, pero de todas formas, disfrute muchisimo de la primera nieve de la temporada!!!!
Desafortunadamente no tome muchas fotos, la bateria de mi camara se descargo estando alli, y aunque John llevaba su camara .... la tarjeta de memoria se le lleno luego de un par de fotos!!
De todas formas, hoy es Dic. 19 y solo quiero publicar ya el blog, asi que como dice el dicho, ''una imagen vale mas que mil palabras'', no estoy comentando todas las fotos!!

Acabando de llegar y disfrutando de la belleza y la ''soledad'', solo habia 2-3 carros alrededor!!

So glad to be able to enjoy such a gorgeous natural scenario!!
Tan afortunada de poder disfrutar de un escenario natural tan espectacular!!

I can understand that certain people doesn't like the snow, but cannot understand people saying is not pretty when fresh and white, it's an amazing spectacle!!!
Puedo entender que a cierta gente no le guste la nieve, pero no entiendo a la gente diciendo que no es bonita recien caida y blanquita, es un espectaculo asombroso!!!
 

And even John is one of the ones that doesn't like it, he enjoys seeing me happy .... and even let me take pictures of him!!!
Y aunque John es uno de los que no les gusta, disfruta viendome feliz ..... y hasta me deja tomarle fotos!!!

And fortunately, it's there for us just to enjoy it!!
Y afortunadamente, esta alli para nosotros simplemente disfrutarla!!

Bear Creek Park - Parque Quebrada del oso

Here again and this time with pictures from the same month I'm posting them, November!!
The other day had an appointment (job) near Bear Creek Park and as the afternoon was so nice (no rain, a very pleasant weather, perfect time for a walk!!), I decided to come home walking, crossing the park!!
Aqui de nuevo y esta vez con fotos del mismo mes en que las estoy bajando, Noviembre!!
El otro dia tuve una cita (trabajo) cerca al parque Quebrada del oso y la tarde estaba tan agradable (sin lluvia, un clima super placentero, tiempo perfecto para una caminata!!), decidi regresar a casa caminando, cruzando el parque!!

En una de las entradas del parque. Colores y naturaleza formidable esperando que todos les disfrutemos!!

 And once inside, a coyote also enjoying the park!! Yes, a coyote, yes, I tried to go as close as possible, and yes, fortunately took the picture before it ran inside the forest!!  
Y una vez dentro, un coyote disfrutando tambien del parque!! Si, un coyote, si, trate de acercarme lo mas que pude, y si, afortunadamente tome la foto antes de que corriera dentro del bosque!!

 And once gone, me ready to continue enjoying the walk!!
Y una vez se fue, yo lista para continuar disfrutando la caminata!!
 

 And with this beauty around, impossible not to!!
Y con esta belleza alrededor, imposible no hacerlo!!

 The other day a friend of mine told me that she can see God's beauty in my pictures, what a compliment!!
I can see God's beauty in His creation. God's beauty is all around us, we just need to take notice of it!!
El otro dia una amiga me dijo que ella podia ver la belleza de Dios en mis fotos, que cumplido!! Yo puedo ver la belleza en Su creacion. La belleza de Dios esta a todo nuestro alrededor, simplemente necesitamos notarla!!

 Just look at the image, how can we not see the beauty in it? I could seat down in that bench for some minutes and feel the miracle I am, the miracle we all are!!
Simplemente miren la imagen, como no ver belleza en ella? Podria sentarme en esa banca por unos minutos y sentir el milagro que soy, el milagro que todos somos!!
 

 Look at this perfection, the same tree, leaves of different colors, and some even different colors in the same leaf!! Miren esta perfeccion, el mismo arbol, hojas de diferentes colores, y algunas hasta con colores diferentes en la misma hoja!!
 

 Don't know you, but I think this is pretty!! No se ustedes, pero yo pienso que es preciosa!!

 Not to many colors, but still ''our beautiful chapel'' (we got married here). Sin muchos colores, pero aun asi, ''nuestra hermosa capilla'' (aqui nos casamos).
 

But still plenty of colors around the park!! Pero de todas formas con colores alrededor del parque!!

 I'm so happy I'm able to enjoy so much beauty ...... and also, able to share it with all of you!!
Soy tan feliz de poder disfrutar tanta belleza ....... y tambien, de poderla compartir con todos ustedes!!

 Nature: the existence of abundance, richness in everything. We need to be conscious how rich we are,  we are part of nature!!
Naturaleza: la existencia de la abundancia, riqueza en todo. Necesitamos ser conscientes de que tan ricos somos, somos parte de la naturaleza!!

 Simple?, maybe, common?, maybe, but also unique, as every second of our existence!!
Simple?, de pronto, comun?, de pronto, pero tambien unico, como cada segundo de nuestra existencia!!

 Let's think of all the beauty still left around us and let's be happy!!! Pensemos en toda la belleza que aun queda a nuestro alrededor y alegremonos!!!

 Everything has its beauty, and even Fall is here now and gone in some weeks, next year will be back!!!
Todo tiene su belleza, y aunque otono esta aqui ahora y se ira en unas semanas, seguro volvera el ano entrante!!

 And we aren't the only ones, the ducks too!! Y no somos los unicos, los patos tambien!!

 Loving nature is finding beauty everywhere!! Amando la naturaleza es como encontramos belleza en todo!!
  

 And I'm very grateful I can enjoy beauty around!! Y estoy muy agradecida de poder disfrutar la belleza alrededor!!

 The ''bear'' enjoying its surroundings!! El ''oso'' disfrutando de sus alrededores!!

 So ''simple'' but at the same time so great!!! Tan ''simple'' pero al mismo tiempo tan grandiosa!!!

 Hope that just seeing the picture you can relax and enjoy the beauty!!
Espero que solo con ver la foto se puedan relajar y disfrutar la belleza!!
  

 I'm sure the squirrel is enjoying whatever is eating, don't you?!! Estoy segura que la ardilla esta disfrutando lo que sea que esta comiendo, no lo creen?!!

 Almost at my exit from the park, renovated and full of good energy!! Casi a mi salida del parque, renovada y llena de buena energia!!

  And even with fallen leaves and trunk, feeling so alive!!! Y aun con el tronco y las hojas en el suelo, sintiendome tan viva!!

LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL, LET'S ENJOY EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!
LA VIDA ES HERMOSA, VAMOS A DISFRUTARLA CADA MINUTO!!
