My birthday!!!! - Mi cumpleanos!!!!

Aug. 7th., 1962 a cute baby girl was born ...... and 50 years later, I celebrated my birthday and really had a great time!!! Here you have some pictures to prove it!!
Agosto 7, 1962 una hermosa nina nacio ...... y 50 anos mas tarde, celebre mi cumpleanos y que grandioso  fue!!! Aqui tienen algunas fotos para probarlo!!

 We went to a kind of Cafe-Restaurant, and after dinner, I blew the candles out!! And about my ''red tan'', we finally went out the weekend before!! Will post pictures of the trip later.
Fuimos a un lugar como Cafeteria-Restaurante, y luego de cenar, sople mis velas!! Y acerca de mi ''rojo bronceado'', finalmente salimos el fin de semana anterior!! Ya bajare fotos del viaje mas tarde.

 A very happy 50 years old me!!!! Una muy feliz cincuenteanera!!!!

 His birthday was the following day, and only a few years older than me, but he wanted the picture with the 50 candles!!!! Su cumpleanos fue al dia siguiente, y es solo una cuantos anitos mayor que yo, pero queria la foto con las velas marcando 50!!!

Back home after the celebration and really happy I could celebrate my 50 years and still counting ...... hopefully for many more years!!!!
De regreso en casa luego de la celebracion y feliz de haber podido celebrar mis 50 anos y aun contando ...... espero que por muchos anos mas!!!!

Hawthorne Gardens - Jardines Hawthorne

Surrey, where we live, is a city full of parks (I think you have noticed it!!) and some days ago we went to visit another one. Once there we knew we have been there before, I used to live pretty close to it!!, but we didn't know the name of it. Anyway, we enjoyed some nice, peaceful moments there, and here you have the pictures to prove it!!
Surrey, donde vivimos, es una ciudad llena de parques (creo que ya lo han notado!!) y hace algunos dias fuimos a visitar otro. Una vez alli supimos que ya habiamos estado antes, yo solia vivir muy cerquita!!, pero no sabiamos el nombre. De todas formas, disfrutamos de unos agradables y apacibles momentos y aqui tienen las fotos para probarlo!!

 The flowers look great but you can't imagine the smell, just great!!!!
Las flores lucen preciosas, pero no se imaginan el olor, fascinante!!!!

 And most of the parks have creeks and of course, bridges .... that I love and use them to take pictures of John!!
Y la mayoria de los parques tienen quebradas y por supuesto, puentes .... que me encantan y los uso para tomarle fotos a John!!

 Can you see the holes? are from woodpeckers!!! Amazing, isn't it?

 How amazing nature can be!! The 2 trunks are coming from ''inside'' the log and you can see a root coming over (from the left one) and going down ''using'' the log!!!!
Que grandiosa puede ser la naturaleza!! Los 2 ''arboles'' que ven vienen de ''dentro'' del tronco y pueden ver una de las raices que viene de uno de los arboles (el de la izquierda) y baja ''usando'' el tronco!!

 One of the many fountains around, even don't life the colors very much, love the shape!!
Una de las muchas fuentes alrededor, aunque no me fascinan los colores, me encanta la forma!!

 I love these ones, sometimes want to touch them but..... think they look nicer than they will feel if I touch them!!!
Adoro estas, algunas veces me gustaria tocarlas pero ...... pienso que lucen mas bonitas que como se sentirian al tacto!!!

   They were really sweet and delicious ..... yes, after taking the picture, John had one and I ate the rest!!!! Are from a friend's garden.
Estaban realmente dulces y deliciosas ..... si, despues de tomarles la foto, le di una a John y yo me comi el resto!!!! Son del jardin de unos amigos. 

3 years anniversary!! - Aniversario 3 anos!!

Yesterday, July 25th., was our 3rd. wedding anniversary, the 2nd. one together, the first one I was in Spain!!
But fortunately we're together now and more in love each day!! And with God's help, will continue that way for many more years to come!!
Ayer, Julio 25, fue nuestro 3er. aniversario de bodas, el segundo juntos pues el primero yo estaba en Espana!! Afortunadamente ahora estamos juntos y mas enamorados cada dia!! Y con la ayuda de Dios, continuara asi por muchos anos mas!!

 This was my anniversary gift, a foldable wagon, I got it thinking to use it for the boat, but John already used for other purposes as well, to bring his tools from the car to the house!!
Este fue mi regalo de aniversario, una carretilla plegable, la consegui pensando en usarla para el velero, pero John ya la uso para otros propositos, traer las herramientas del carro a la casa!!

 And of course, sure will have more uses, is a very nice thing to have!!
Y por supuesto, seguro que tendra mas usos, es algo muy util!!

 And this is the gorgeous flower arrangement my parents in law sent us, love the flowers, but the heart shape is my favorite!!
Y este es el precioso arreglo de flores que nos mandaron mis suegros, adoro las flores, pero el corazon con las hojitas es mi favorito!!

 The flutes we used for our wedding, with our names and date (25-07-09), and also added some ''romantic  touch'' with the red hearts confetti!! Las copas de champana fue las que usamos para nuestra boda, con los nombres y fecha (25-07-09), y tambien anadi un ''toque romantico'' con los aleluyas de corazones rojitos!!

 We enjoyed a Vietnamese soup first (both of us love it!!) and then chicken breast, quinoa (the 3 heart shapes!!), and fried onions and mushrooms, yummy!!!!
Primero disfrutamos de una sopa vietnamita (que a ambos nos encanta!!) y luego pechuga de pollo, quinoa (los 3 corazones!!) y champinones con cebolla refritos, todo delicioso!!!!
 

 After dinner we went to Bear Creek Park again, where we got married 3 years ago!!!
Luego de la cena fuimos al parque quebrada del oso de nuevo, donde nos casamos hace 3 anos!!!
 

 And of course, plenty of flowers around, beautiful!!
Y por supuesto, muchas flores alrededor, hermoso!!

 Sometimes I wish I could have a big garden full of flowers, but at least we have the parks!!
Algunas veces desearia tener un gran jardin lleno de flores, pero al menos tenemos los parques!!

 And once we came back from the park, we went to the backyard to take some more pictures!!
Y una vez regresamos del parque, fuimos al patio trasero para tomar unas cuantas fotos mas!!

 So many nice memories to share, so glad we're together again!!!
Tantos recuerdos formidables para compartir, que felicidad estar juntos de nuevo!!!
