Canada Day!! - Dia de Canada!!

As I mentioned the last time, this July 1st. was my first Canada Day as a Canadian Citizen, and it was great!!
Was a hot day, but I waited until the middle of the afternoon to go to the beach, and it was a great idea, still hot but able to "handle" it!! 
Como mencione la ultima vez, este 1ro. de Julio fue mi primer Dia de Canada como ciudadana Canadiense, y fue grandioso!!
Fue un dia caliente, pero espere hasta media tarde para irme a la playa, y fue una gran idea, aun caliente pero "manejable"!!

And the seagulls also enjoying the breeze from the ocean!!
Y las gaviotas tambien disfrutando de la brisa del oceano!!

Not in many places around the world can we see something like this, Mt. Baker (U.S.A.) covered in snow, and the ocean (Canada) down below!!
No en muchos lugares alrededor del mundo podemos ver algo asi, el monte Baker (U.S.A.) cubierto de nieve, y el oceano (Canada) abajo!! 

And to complete the magnificent scenario, a gorgeous full moon!!
Y para completar el magnifico escenario, una hermosa luna llena!!

First time taking pictures of the fireworks with my new camera, and very happy with the results!!
Ah!! the white "dot" is the moon!!
I took like 300 pictures of the fireworks, but think that with all that I posted, you'll see more than enough!!
Primera vez tomando fotos de fuegos artificiales con mi camara nueva, y muy contenta con los resultados!!
Ah!! y el "punto" blanco es la luna!!
Tome como 300 fotos de los fuegos artificiales, pero creo que con todas las que baje, veran mas que suficientes!!

Spectacular!! - Espectaculares!!

It seems this is the year for me to see animals and things I hadn't seen before, or in situations that aren't the "normal" ones, but for sure I'm enjoying all the spectacular moments I'm having!!
And as this time I posted so many pictures, I won't write about all of them!!
  
Parece que este es el ano para que yo vea animales y cosas que no he visto antes, o en situaciones que no son las "normales", pero seguro que estoy disfrutando todos los momentos espectaculares que estoy pasando!!
Y como en esta tanda baje tantas fotos, no voy a escribir sobre todas ellas!! 

Serpentine River. 

A "normal" red robin, but very patient, waited until I took the camera out of my purse!!
Un petirrojo "normal", pero muy paciente, espero hasta que saque la camara del bolso!!

Just 2 days after Summer began, can you imagine the Summer we'll have? I really don't want to think about it!!
Apenas 2 dias despues de comenzar el verano, pueden imaginarse el verano que vamos a tener? Yo no quiero ni pensar sobre el tema!!

So dry I was able to walk in it!!
Tan seco que pude caminar en el!!

A very, very hot day, I wished I was at Mt. Baker with all its snow!! 
Un dia muy, muy caliente, desee estar en el Monte Baker con toda su nieve!!

And now, my first black and white dragonfly!!
Y ahora, mi primera libelula blanca y negra!!

  

And this one, also my first all red dragonfly!!
Y esta, tambien mi primera libelula completamente roja!!

Bowen Island.

Last Sunday I went to Bowen Island, and again, saw this kind of gorgeous mama duck with her ducklings!!
El pasado domingo me fui para la Isla de Bowen, y de nuevo, vi esta clase de hermosa mama pata con sus paticos!!

And probably being tired of all the attention (some children and families around), to the water they went (two of them over mama's wings)!!
Y probablemente ya cansados de la atencion (habia ninos y familias alrededor), se fueron al agua (dos de ellos sobre las alas de la mama)!!

And geese too!!
Y gansos tambien!!

We can guess the one more at front isn't a member of the family!!
Podemos adivinar que el que esta mas al frente no es un miembro de la familia!!
  

I love that they are so protective of their own!!
Me encanta que son super protectores de los suyos!!

A beautiful place for everyone, including blue herons!!
Un hermoso lugar para todos, incluyendo garzas azules!!

And a dog enjoying the lake too!!
Y un perro disfrutando del lago tambien!!

It was inside a property, a private garden. Since long time ago, I want to take a picture of an open field with plenty of wild flowers around, but this one is close enough for me!!
Dentro de una propiedad, un jardin privado. Desde hace muchos anos, he querido tomar una foto de un campo abierto con muchas flores silvestres alrededor, pero con este me contento de momento!!

And the labyrinth I was looking for this time!! Looking at it from "outside" I couldn't see it, but once walking inside was incredible, I walked all around!!
Y el laberinto que estaba buscando esta vez!! Al mirarlo desde fuera no lo pude ver, pero una vez caminandolo por dentro fue increible, camine por todo el rededor!!

El Santuario, una cabanita muy agradable!!

Yes, a woodpecker, and I was amaze with the sound it was doing, maybe was just the echo, but was really "loud"!!
Si, un pajaro carpintero, y me asombro el sonido que estaba haciendo, talves fue solo el eco, pero sonaba bastante "fuerte"!!

And these ducks again!!
Y estos patos de nuevo!!

Adults and babies are gorgeous, teenagers ..... that's another thing!!
Los adultos y los bebes son preciosos, los adolescentes .... son otra cosa!!

And all together enjoying a day at the beach!!
Y todos juntos disfrutando de un dia en la playa!!
 

Such a tender, little gosling!!
Un pequeno, tierno gansito!!

And to finish with this post, some juveniles that in question of weeks will be as gorgeous as their parents!!
