Beautiful Spring!! - Hermosa Primavera!!

Some days ago I went to Bear Creek Park more than once during that week, but the first time was a very special day, that day I felt my taking pictures "gift" to the max, but with all the flowers, birds, and other "subjects" around, the opportunities for wonderful pictures were everywhere, I just needed to click the camera!! How not to be grateful with all that magnificence around?, I'm completely delighted and I'm pretty sure you'll too!!
Hace algunos dias fui al parque Quebrada del oso varias veces durante esa semana, pero el primer dia fue muy especial, ese dia senti que mi "regalo" para tomar fotos estaba al tope, pero con todas las flores, pajaros, y otros "sujetos" alrededor, las oportunidades para fotos grandiosas estaban por todos lados, simplemente necesite disparar con la camara!! Como no estar agradecida con toda esa magnificencia alrededor?, estoy completamente maravillada y estoy segura ustedes tambien lo estaran!!

Just a "simple" flower? I don't know about you, but to me there isn't anything simple about it, it's like another look at the bright side of our lives!!

"Simplemente" otra flor? Yo no se para ustedes, pero para mi no tiene nada de simple, es como otra ojeada al lado espectacular de nuestras vidas!!

And now, the tulips!!! Tulips have different times to bloom, and the ones like this one are some of the first ones. Lovely, isn't it?
Y ahora, los tulipanes!!! Los tulipanes tienen diferentes temporadas para florecer, y los que son como este son de los primeros. Adorable, no?

Acabo de aprender que sus dientes nunca paran de crecer!! El mantenerse royendo mantiene los dientes "a punto" para que no se les claven en sus cuellos!!

Simple things bring infinite pleasure. And in this case, some rain drops bring infinite beauty!!
Las cosas simples brindan placer infinito. Y en este caso, algunas gotas de lluvia brindan belleza infinita!!

Let's take time today to appreciate something we take for granted. Like enjoying seeing all the flowers around, what a magnificent gift and blessing our sight is!!
Hoy tomemonos el tiempo para apreciar algo que damos por sentado. Como disfrutar viendo las flores alrededor, que regalo y bendicion mas magnifica es nuestra vision!!

I was thinking it probably had its nest inside, but came back with John some days later, and no bird or nest at sight!!
Estaba pensando que tenia el nido adentro, pero volvi con John unos dias mas tarde, y no habia pajarito ni nido a la vista!!
  

Everything in life happens at the right moment, and how glad I am that I was able to be there at the right time to take this picture!!
Todo en la vida pasa en el momento adecuado, y que afortunada soy de haber podido estar ahi en el momento correcto para tomar esta foto!!

What a gift life is!! I'm so blessed being able to live here, to have this gorgeous park near by, to be able to take pictures there and to post them for all of you to enjoy!!
Que regalo es la vida!! Soy tan bendecida de poder vivir aqui, de tener este hermoso parque tan cerca, de poder tomar fotos alli y bajarlas para que todos ustedes las disfruten!!

Tulips bring a warm feeling after a cold winter. And they are also constant reminders that after winter, spring always comes, and that there is light after darkness!!
Los tulipanes brindan un sentimiento calido luego de un frio invierno. Y tambien son recordatorios constantes de que luego del invierno, siempre viene la primavera, y que luego de la oscuridad viene la luz!!
 

There is a city in Washington State (Mt. Vernon) that grows more tulips than the entire country of Holland!!
Hay una ciudad en el estado de Washington (Monte Vernon) que cultiva mas tulipanes que toda Holanda!!

A fun fact: When the tulip flower first arrived in Europe, the English tried serving them with oil and vinegar and the Germans boiled and sugared the bulbs!!!
Un dato gracioso: Cuando los tulipanes llegaron por primera vez a Europa, los Ingleses trataron de servirles con aceite y vinagre y los Alemanes hervian y endulzaban los bulbos!!!
   

Daffodils are some of the first spring flowers. They are the flowers used as symbol for cancer, but it's also said they bring good luck and happiness!!
Los narcisos son de las primeras flores de primavera. Son las flores usadas como simbolo para el cancer, pero tambien se dice que brindan buena suerte y felicidad!!

Fungi recycle plants after they die and transform them into rich soil. If not for fungi, the Earth would be buried in several feet of debris and life on the planet would soon disappear, let's be thankful for them!!
Los hongos reciclan las plantas luego de que mueren y las transforman en tierra beneficiosa. Si no fuera por los hongos, la Tierra estaria enterrada en varios metros de escombros y la vida en el planeta pronto desapareceria, demos gracias por ellos!!
 

And this day I had a lot of opportunities to take pictures of sparrows, they were everywhere!!
Y este dia tuve muchas oportunidades de tomar fotos de los gorriones, estaban por todos lados!!

You know it's spring just listening to them singing and flying all over the place!!
Se sabe que es primavera simplemente escuchandolos cantar y volando por todos lados!!

Esta tambien me encanta!! Probablemente macho y hembra, lucen diferentes!!
