Parties!! - Fiestas!!

Today I'm beginning with Alexia's birthday party (2 years old, same day as mine!), celebrated August 11, and finishing with John's birthday, and a couple more from him too!!
Hoy estoy comenzando con la fiesta de cumpleanos de Alexia (2 anos, el mismo dia que yo!!), celebrada el 11 de Agosto, y terminando con las del cumpleanos de John, y un par mas tambien de John!!

August 29, a day after beginning chemo, and a little more reddish than the day before!!
Agosto 29, un dia despues de comenzar la quimo, y un poco mas rojizo que el dia anterior!!

And now, to his birthday party!! With Jeff and Theresa, very good friends that needed to leave early because they were camping the next day!!
Y ahora, a su fiesta de cumpleanos!! Con Jeff y Theresa, muy buenos amigos que necesitaron irse temprano pues se fueron a acampar al dia siguiente!!

Some veggies, dips, fruits, and in the other table, salmon, samosas (an Indian dish), and a cake.
Algunos vegetales, salsas, frutas, y en la otra mesa, salmon, samosas (un plato de la India), y uno de los bizcochos.

Cesar's wife (she wasn't at the party!!) prepared this black forest cake for John, very good one!!
La esposa de Cesar (que no estaba en la fiesta!!) preparo este bizcocho selva negra para John, delicioso!!

My flowers!!! - Mis flores!!!

I love having fresh flowers at home, and to enjoy them for some days, even I know they will be gone soon after, but by then, I have plenty of pictures to continue enjoying them for as long as I want!!
And of course, also enjoying the ones outside, in gardens, parks, everywhere!!  
Adoro tener flores frescas en casa, y disfrutarlas por algunos dias, aunque se que mas temprano que tarde ya no las tendre, pero para ese entonces, tengo suficientes fotos para continuar gozandolas por tanto tiempo como quiera!!
Y por supuesto, tambien gozando las que estan afuera, en jardines, parques, por todas partes!!

And more pictures I take, more ''conscious'' I'm of the little details that make them even more beautiful!! Like the centers in these ones, so magnificent with the miniature flowers!!
Y mientras mas fotos tomo, mas ''consciente'' estoy de los pequenos detalles que las hacen aun mas hermosas!! Como el centro en estas, tan magnifico con sus florecitas miniatura!! 

I think that no matter what we are going through in life, there is always beauty around us, to make our days brighter and prettier!!

Y creo que sin importar por lo que estemos pasando en nuestras vidas, siempre hay belleza alrededor nuestro, para hacer nuestros dias mas luminosos y hermosos!!

Como estas, misma clase de flor, angulos diferentes, hermosa en todas ellas!!

Some days later, and still enjoying them!! And meanwhile they are still ''pretty'', I'll continue enjoying them, one day at a time!!
Algunos dias mas tarde, y aun disfrutandolas!! Y mientras sigan ''hermosas'', continuare disfrutandolas, un dia a la vez!!

And of course, I can continue enjoying them in the pictures, that even isn't the same, they also make me feel great!!
Y por supuesto, puedo continuar disfrutandoles en las fotos, que aunque no sea lo mismo, tambien me hacen sentir muy bien!!

Nature brings solace in all troubles. We need to remember nature and the true joy it can bring. What a very inexpensive cure we can find in it!!
La naturaleza nos brinda consuelo para nuestros problemas. Necesitamos recordarla y la verdadera alegria que nos puede brindar. Que cura tan economica la que podemos encontrar en ella!!

Flowers are our ''constant'' friends, it doesn't matter if we're happy or sad, they are always there to make our days a lot better!!
Las flores son amigas ''constantes'', no importa si estamos felices o tristes, ellas estan siempre ahi para hacer nuestros dias mucho mejores!! 

We should live as a flower, they don't force anything. Let's remember that everyday millions of flowers are opening without forcing the buds!!
Deberiamos vivir como las flores, que no fuerzan nada. Recordemos que cada dia millones de flores estan abriendo sin forzar los capullos!!

And to finish here, I want to remind you that like flowers, we just need to be ourselves, we're wonderful!!!

Yes, 51 years with ups and downs, but what an exciting life I have!!

Sometimes life puts us through things we don't like, but things that help us to appreciate more our lives!!
Algunas veces la vida nos pone en situaciones que no nos gustan, pero situaciones que nos ayudan a apreciar mas nuestras vidas!!

Next August 28 will be his birthday, and hopefully we'll enjoy more great moments to remember for the rest of our lives!!
El proximo 28 de Agosto sera su cumpleanos, y con la esperanza de que disfrutaremos mas momentos grandiosos para recordar por el resto de nuestras vidas!!

Last ones from July!! - Las ultimas de Julio!!

Middle of August and here I'm, just finishing with July pictures!! But as the saying says, ''better late than never''!!
Mediados de Agosto y aqui estoy, apenas terminando con las fotos de Julio!! Pero como dice el dicho, ''mas vale tarde que nunca''!!

Aren't they gorgeous? And look at the centers, same flower, but different centers!! The first one something like threads, the other two, something like miniature flowers!!
No son grandiosas? Y miren los centros, misma flor, pero centros diferentes!! La primera parece algo como hilos, las otras dos, algo como flores miniaturas!!

In the first one, you can see both centers, and the one in the middle, lovely!!, seems trying to get some sunshine!!
En la primera, pueden ver ambos centros, y la del medio, encantadora!!, parece estar tratando de conseguir algo de sol!!

The flowers John gave me for our anniversary!! First one, top, left side, the whole bouquet, the other three, different parts of the bouquet!!
Las flores que John me dio por nuestro aniversario!! La primera, arriba, lado izquierdo, el ramo completo, las otras tres, partes diferentes del ramo!!

Some days later, with most of the lilies already open!! Algunos dias mas tarde, con la mayoria de los lirios ya abiertos!!

And the last ones from July 31st. It's great to be able to enjoy them meanwhile they are blooming and open, but I wish we could enjoy them for a longer time!!
