Moon and beach - Luna y playa.

I know the moon has a lot to do with the tides, but I think the very hot days we had some days ago had nothing to do with the full moon that days but with the global warming, and going to the beach was a great alternative to enjoy fresher moments!!
Se que la luna tiene mucho que ver con las mareas, pero pienso que los dias tan calientes que tuvimos hace algunos dias nada tienen que ver con la luna llena de esos dias pero si con el calentamiento global, y el ir a la playa fue una gran alternativa para disfrutar de momentos mas frescos!!

Casi llena, solo una noche mas!!

And with a day that was hotter inside than outside, went to Crescent beach!!
Y con un dia mas caliente adentro que afuera, me fui para la playa Creciente!!

This part of the coast has "extreme" tides, and even with low tide, wasn't as low as other times I had been there!!
Esta parte de la costa tiene mareas "extremas", y aunque con marea baja, no estaba tan baja como otras veces que he estado alli!!

It amazes me how the rocks don't fall immediately!! I saw the guy doing it ... and 30 minutes later it was still there!!

Me impresiona que las rocas no se caen inmediatamente!! Vi al muchacho haciendolo ... y 30 minutos mas tarde todavia estaba ahi!!

 

And even wasn't as fresh as I wanted, being close to the water and with this view, of course I was feeling a lot more refresh!!
Y aunque no estaba tan fresco como yo queria, estando cerca del agua y con esta vista, por supuesto me estaba sintiendo mas fresca!!

Buntzen Lake - Lago Buntzen.

Just some days ago I was reading an article about places I can go using public transit and Buntzen lake, a place I didn't know after all these years living here, was one of them!! And a sunny Summer Sunday, with my dear friend Lula driving her car (yes, I didn't need to use the buses!!), there we went!!
Hace solo algunos dias estaba leyendo un articulo sobre lugares a los que puedo ir usando transporte publico y el lago Buntzen, un lugar que no conocia despues de tantos anos por aqui, fue uno de ellos!! Y un domingo soleado de verano, con mi querida amiga Lula conduciendo su carro (si, no necesite usar los buses!!), para alla nos fuimos!!

There are some places on Earth that are breathtaking and for me, Buntzen lake is one of them!!
Hay algunos lugares en la Tierra que tienen una belleza espectacular y para mi, el lago Buntzen es uno de ellos!!

We arrived not very early but early enough to get a picnic table!!
LLegamos no muy temprano pero lo suficiente para conseguir una mesa de picnic!!

"What? Do you want me to pose for you? I can do it!" And he did it!!
"Que? Quieres que te pose? Puedo hacerlo!" Y lo hizo!!

There is a "special" beach for dogs and its masters, and this is a part of it!!
Hay una playa "especial" para perros y sus amos, y esta es una parte de ella!!

Fireworks!! - Fuegos artificiales!!

The last week of July we had the "Celebration of light", an annual fireworks show at English Bay that this year took place July 23, 27, and the last one July 30. And this time you'll enjoy some pictures from Wednesday  27 (Australia) and Saturday 30 (USA - Disney), the ones I enjoyed!!
I am not writing about the pics, simply enjoy them as I did being there!!
La ultima semana de Julio tuvimos la "Celebracion de luces", un show anual de fuegos artificiales en la Bahia Inglesa que este ano tuvo lugar el 23, 27, y el ultimo el 30 de Julio. Y esta vez van a disfrutar fotos del miercoles 27 (Australia) y los del sabado 30 (Estados Unidos - Disney), los que yo disfrute!!
No voy a escribir sobre las fotos, simplemente disfrutenlas como yo lo hice estando alli!!
